Free Medical Missions to Sierra Leone

Health2Home Organization has been organizing Free yearly medical mission to Sierra Leone since 2009 through the leadership of Seray Cuthbertson, who is an Adult Nurse Practitioner, residing in the US, and born of Sierra Leone, in the Northern Province.

These missions are usually mostly self -funded by Seray, and donations in the form of financial, supplies and equipment received from family, colleagues and friends.

The free medical missions are usually held in Mabonto town, in the Kafe- Simiria Chiefdoms. Patients walks miles orĀ  take motor cycles (Okada) to come to the clinic to get Screened for Diabetes or High Blood Pressure (Hypertension), od get treatment for minon infections-eg pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis, wound infections, fungal infections of feet

One prominent family member who provides not only financial support, but also emotional & security year in and year out is the current Sierra Leone to United State of America Ambassador, HE Ambassador Abu Bakarr Sidique Wai.
